Founder and creative director of Exclusive Italy Weddings, Laura Frappa started planning destination weddings back in 1997 when wedding planners in Italy could be counted on the fingers of one hand. 

After studying Art & Photography, she approached the wedding world by coincidence but purposely and with much dedication she became a renowned pioneer for the Italian destination wedding industry.

Among all her talents as a mother of three and successful businesswoman and top wedding planner, the art of wedding design and styling is undoubtedly her speciality. Laura is extremely detail-oriented, every day is a new opportunity for her to channel her creative energy on a fabulous design that will amaze couples, guests and the entire industry.

No surprise that VIPs and celebrities have chosen Laura to plan their exclusive destination wedding in Italy over the years. From Hollywood actress Patricia Arquette, actor David Hasselhoff, to British pop singer Paul Weller, from the American lawyer James A. Baker IV, son of the former USA Secretary of State James A. Baker III, to the beautiful niece of Diane von Fürstenberg, just to name a few.

Martina, Laura’s right hand, the queen of glorious feedbacks from the couples she assisted with their most special day. 

The instinctive urge for improvement and growth she felt after completing a Degree in Foreign Languages hardly combined with a specific job career until she discovered the world of Wedding Planners back in 2000. Martina started working with dedication and enthusiasm from the very beginning and then joined Exclusive Italy Weddings in 2005, getting back much appreciation for her great patience, reliability, attention to detail and problem-solving skills when planning complex events with multiple activities for discerning couples.

Together with Laura, in the past years she has traveled extensively all-around Italy scouting for new environments, potential locations and local trends to enhance their creativity and add value to their passion, skills and talents. 

Friendly, well-organized, positive: Martina’s energy fascinates couples when she is patiently working on the planning for several months and even more on the day of the event when they can 100% rely on her professionalism.

From her earliest years, Alessandra has been drawn to travel, the discovery of new places, and connections with people from different cultures. Curious by nature, she has always been inspired by art, beauty, and all things that inspire harmony, emotion and timeless elegance.
After earning a Master’s Degree in Translation and Cultural Mediation, she naturally found her path in destination wedding planning, a career she fell in love with from the very beginning. This role allows her to combine creativity with human connection, working closely with couples from around the world, something she finds incredibly enriching and fulfilling.
Alessandra is appreciated for her calm presence, her warmth and patience. Couples value her attentive listening, reassuring approach and her ability to make them feel completely at ease, knowing they can fully trust her. She guides them through the planning process with care and attention, allowing them to relax and truly enjoy their special day. She approaches every project with grace, dedication and a genuine smile, curating each detail with care and sensitivity to create refined, meaningful and truly memorable experiences.

Nadia is Exclusive Italy Wedding's graphic and event designer. She turns ideas into something you can actually see, touch, and feel.
Fascinated since forever by anything that sparks her visual world, she studied Architecture but soon realized that graphic design was where her creativity felt at home. She’s curious, empathetic, a lover of minimal style and tiny details—but also deeply in love with paper, colors, and anything with a tactile soul. Design, art, photography, vintage treasures, and styling are her happy place.
Now, she finally gets to blend styling and graphics into one universe. She designs side by side with Laura, creating visual sketches that make visible what couples imagine only in their minds. She crafts all the company presentations and is the go-to graphic support for the whole team, quietly making sure everything looks exactly the way it should.

Storytelling, human connection, and attention to detail are at the core of Lisa’s approach to wedding planning. With a background in Foreign Languages and Literatures, she has always been inspired by the power of language, emotion, and visual narratives, elements that naturally shape her creative vision. She spent a year living in California, an experience that strengthened her independence, cultural awareness, and ability to connect naturally with people from different backgrounds. Through wedding planning, Lisa transforms her organizational skills and empathetic nature into thoughtfully crafted, personalized weddings. She supports couples throughout the entire planning journey with calmness and clarity, turning their ideas into elegant, carefully curated celebrations. Known for her empathy and precision, she offers a steady, reassuring presence at every step of the journey. With thoughtful guidance and calm attentiveness, she creates weddings that are personal, effortless, and unforgettable.

To say that Liana is EIW’s office manager is belittling: she’s our walking agenda, travel planner, bookkeeper and much more.

Liana started her career at Exclusive Italy Weddings shortly after the company was founded and her many talents have been used in multiple roles, including creative tasks.

She has always been part of the artistic universe, she graduated in Painting Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice and later specialized in photography and creative installation at the Ensad Institute in Paris.

Her attention to detail and accuracy are equally strong when she keeps our books and when she styles a tablescape together with Laura, our CEO and Creative Director. Liana is also responsible together with Laura of the creative department of the company and specializes in exploring new trends and scouting sensational ideas to incorporate into our events. Her good eye for aesthetics and a strong passion for Art help her select the best suppliers available in the country and discover unknown talents to recommend to our couples. 

Liana is also a great photographer: our best “behind-the-scenes” and in-house shots have her signature on them.
