Church description

The baroque Basilica of S Margherita d’Antiochia, Patron Saint of the city, is located right in the heart of town, in a charming quiet piazza. The impressive large façade is enclosed by two belltowers and has very ornate interiors with precious paintings nonetheless impressive. The large navade can hold very large groups of 200 or more guests.

The Church of S. Giacomo di Corte is just a few steps out of the center in a beautiful panoramic position overlooking the Tigullio Bay and Santa Margherita. It lies near Villa Durazzo where civil ceremonies and banquets take place and dominates the peaceful hamlet of Corte. As you climb the steps to enter the church you can admire the interiors rich of impressive frescoes by Nicolò Barabino, some extending all the way from the ceiling to the altar. This is a more intimate church suitable to groups of 100/150 guests.

Spouses must fulfill the religious requirements before arriving in Italy, and our staff will assist you with all the requested documentation.
