Jamie and Kyle, wedding on Lake Como

Laglio, April 27th 2022.

Getting married in Italy was a dream that Kyle and I had before we were even engaged. We both have very small families and knew that we did not want a traditional, large wedding in the states. Our initial conversations with Laura made us feel totally at ease and we immediately knew that we had made the right decision. She quickly introduced us to Martina whose bubbly personality and wonderful spirit comes across from the very first phone call. You can tell just how much Martina loves “love” and puts her all into every project she takes on. 

Of course, like many couples, Covid hit right in the middle of our wedding planning. Aside from postponing our wedding twice, we also had a baby in between it all! We didn’t feel comfortable traveling right away and those two years were so stressful at times. We were trying to navigate a global pandemic and a new baby all at the same time and Martina was there to guide us through it all and advocated for us with all of our vendors! She was so patient and made sure that they honored our wishes and worked with us to make sure we would make it to Lake Como and have our dream wedding! 

Aside from all of the big things, Martina took our breath away with all of the little details she put together! Her recommendations for photography, hair and makeup, and her selections for florals and tablescapes left us speechless! I’ll never forget the moment when I walked down the stairs at Villa Vittoria that very first day and saw the setup for our welcome dinner. I had never seen anything so beautiful! 

Those three days in Lake Como were so incredible and I wish I could relive them over and over again! We truly can’t thank you enough for all of your hard work and dedication to creating pure magic!
