The prestigious Villa di Lilliano is located in the south of Florence, just 15 minutes drive from its historical center and at approx 30 minutes drive from Florence airport.

Venue description

The Villa di Lilliano is a private 11th-century Medicean Villa with its own small chapel, a large granary, two courtyards, a Limonaia, a large terrace, a panoramic garden and a beautiful terraced park that offers an amazing backdrop for an exclusive wedding day. From the garden of the villa, the panorama over the Villa wine estate and olive groves is truly wonderful, while from the Terrace it is possible to see the city of Florence and its Duomo.

The Villa offers the opportunity to celebrate your love in a stunning Tuscany atmosphere that will make you live a piece of history.

Wedding reception

The Villa is a versatile location for weddings. For Saturday Weddings it is compulsory to rent the whole location from May to October, while a partial booking is possible on any other day or Saturdays from November to April. The use of the areas depends on the number of guests attending, here are two sample settings:

Wedding banquet in the Limonaia

Cocktail - Limonaia Terrace/Garden – 235 m2 – cocktail up to 230 persons

or

Cocktail - Limonaia Courtyard – 135 m2 – cocktail up to 100 persons (if La Corte villa with 5 rooms is booked)

Dinner and dancing - Limonaia Banquet Hall – 247 m2

Banquet up to 180 persons with 10 round tables

Cocktail up to 240 person

Wedding banquet in the Villa/Granaio

Cocktail -Medici Villa Terrace with a view over the countryside and Florence – 228 m2 - Cocktail up to 220 persons, adjacent to the Granaio Banquet Room 

or

Cocktail -Medici Villa Garden with a view over the surrounding countryside – 2060 m2 - Cocktail up to 350 people

Dinner - Granaio Banquet Room – 164 m2, Banquet up to 100 persons  - no dancing allowed

Dancing - Sala Cortile or Limonaia for Dancing

The villa is rented from 4:00 pm to 2:00 am. Extra hours are possible.

Music can be played till 10:00 pm outdoors, till 2:00 pm indoors.

Accommodation

La Corte Villa located between the Limonaia and the Villa sleeps up to 12 people in 5 suites which you can book together or separately. La Corte Villa is perfect for groups of families or friends, where everyone can come together in the large open kitchen and living room area, or by the swimming pool, exclusively reserved for La Corte guests.
