Villa di Ulignano is a beautiful villa from the 17th century gently located on top of a hill near Volterra. It is immersed in 3 hectares of delightful and well-tended park that guarantees maximum privacy to their guests and an endless view over the surrounding hills. This villa was built at the beginning of the XVII century and many historical characters lodged in this enchanting property. Nowadays this exclusive villa in Tuscany is available for weekly or shorter rentals for groups of max 40 guests. More accommodations are at walking distance if needed.

Villa di Ulignano is a dream location for a wedding, we love its enchanting backyard garden, the panoramic park with pool, the piazza in front of the villa and all the facilities it offers to make guests feel at home: a large kitchen, a games room, sauna and gym, a projection room to enjoy films on a wide screen, air conditioning, wifi internet connection, a laundry with dryer and an enchanting pergola by the pool connected to a second fully equipped kitchen.

It is necessary to rent the villa to hold a wedding on its premises. In July and August they only accept weekly rentals, while out of these months they allow shorter stays of three days.

Wedding ceremonies and banquets

This luxury venue is rented exclusively as a whole and it is the ideal setting for unforgettable weddings in Italy for parties from 20 to 150.

Symbolic or protestant ceremonies can be celebrated in the panoramic garden. The aperitif can follow by the pool, under the Pergola. Banquets are arranged in the piazza in front of the façade of the Villa.

In case of bad weather conditions there are two inside halls available: the main dining room on the first floor and a large hall by the entrance on the ground floor. Both halls can hold 90 guests. We recommend to rent a Marquee in case the group is bigger.

A beautiful rustic welcome dinner can be organized in the backyard of the villa while a BBQ or brunch can be organized by the pool.

Cuisine

Banquets are arranged by the best Tuscan catering company. The menus are a mixture of Italian classic cuisine and international innovative tastes.

Accommodation

The Villa has 15 rooms with beds for 29 guests. The Annex has 4 rooms with beds for 8 guests. The total number of beds available at the villa is 37.  Other 3 extra beds can be added to reach the max capacity of 40 guests.

From March to the middle of November. Last two weeks of December are available too.
