Four Seasons Hotel for Luxury Wedding Receptions in Florence

Venue Location

The Four Seasons Hotel is located in an enchanting corner in the heart of Florence. From the Four Seasons Hotel it is possible to reach Florence Cathedral, the Uffizi and the Accademia in only 15 minutes’ walk.

The Hotel is made of a 15th-century Palazzo della Gherardesca and an ex 16th-century convent called Il Conventino that offer 116 spectacular guest rooms. The two buildings border an immense private garden of 4.5 hectares, the largest private park in the city. There is a Michelin star restaurant which is favorite among Florence restaurants for its traditional regional cuisine with a modern twist. On the hotel premises there is also a two-floor spa that features 9 beauty treatment rooms, a Turkish bath and gym. It opens out onto the upper terrace with pool and hot tub.

Wedding ceremony

Symbolic, Protestant and Jewish wedding ceremonies can be organized at the Four Seasons Hotel in the intimacy of one of its enchanting gardens: Duomo view Garden or Tempio Garden. There are several beautiful halls available as back up.

Wedding reception

A 30 minutes gathering can be organized in the Lobby of the hotel to welcome your guests with a glass of Champagne as they arrive. The formal aperitif can follow outdoors in the Garden with view of the Duomo or in the Conventino Terrace, the aperitif generally lasts one hour and a half maximum.

Dinner can be organized outdoors on the Conventino terrace or in the Conventino ballroom and generally it takes a couple of hours depending on the number of courses selected.

If dinner takes place indoors it is possible to do the cutting of the cake in the garden followed by a unique fireworks show ending back in the Conventino Ballroom for the dancing party.

If dinner takes place outdoors we can organize the cutting of the cake indoors followed by the First Dance of the Bride and Groom and dancing. Music outdoors is allowed until 11:00pm while indoors it is possible to have music until 1am. This plan is valid for max 200 guests.

Smaller groups have at their disposal other halls for private wedding banquets, one is located on the first floor of the hotel and is suitable to max 80 guests on round tables and then there are some intimate halls for groups of max 30 guests.

Cuisine

The whole menu will be discussed and customized to meet your tastes. The culinary creativity of the chef of the hotel offers an extensive array of menus to choose from. The hotel sommelier will recommend the best wines that match the selected courses and the hotel mixologist will customize a selection of full open bar drinks including the creation of the Bride and Groom celebratory drink.

Accommodation

The Four Seasons Hotel has 72 guest rooms and 44 Suites that make a total of 116 spacious and bright rooms that combine Renaissance décor with all modern facilities. Whether you stay in the Palazzo della Gherardesca or in the Conventino, you will enjoy a feeling of familiarity and comfort. Families can be accommodated in connecting rooms and/or suites. Rooms for non-smokers are available on request, as are wheelchair-accessible rooms. Butler service is available in the Conventino.

During the months of May, June and September for a Wedding on Saturday they request min 12 room booking per night, this might apply to Friday as well. Sunday bookings or Saturdays in July, August, October have no room booking requirements.
