Villa Le Fontanelle is a luxury Villa located in an exclusive position in the city of Florence, high enough on a hillside to enjoy wide and spectacular views over the city.

Venue description

The villa was originally a farm. In the 15th century, the Farm became one of the properties of the Medici family and was donated to Marsilio Ficino, a famous member of the Florentine Umanesim. In this villa, the humanist translated the Platonic codes and gave birth to the Florentine Neoplatonic Academy (in the villa you can find evidence of this heritage, like the siren statue in the middle of the marble pool of the Italian garden).

Thanks to the remarkable attention to detail nowadays the Villa offers a dreamy environment for a very exclusive wedding day, 2.5 acres of beauty, peace, and privacy. 

The villa has a wide terrace overlooking Florence, 7 luxurious Suites and services of a 5-star hotel, not to mention the amazing stone pool. This extraordinary Villa has just been inaugurated after a long restoration that turned this private house into a luxurious Villa where memorable weddings can be organized.

Wedding ceremony and reception

Symbolic and Protestant weddings can be celebrated on the lawn in a special secluded area of the park, the aperitif can follow on the Italian garden and dinner outdoors in the panoramic terrace. Outdoors there is room for 100/150 guests. We recommend covering the outdoor terrace in case of large groups.

Villa facilities: private parking, pool and BBQ area in the garden, greenhouse sitting room, private gardens with different paths inside the property that offer you the opportunity to immerse into amazing landscapes.

Accommodation

7 exclusive Suites can host 14 guests in double occupancy. Most of them are wide enough to add extra beds for a maximum capacity of 25 guests. Minimum stay: 4 nights.
