A dream house stands in the heart of Sicily, in the Noto valley which was picked by Unesco as World Heritage Site, hanging between history and contemporary design, in the very heart of Sicily, a region where perfumes and colors have an unequalled intensity. It is a sort of Masseria-style villa with an ancient history that was turned into a holiday retreat and an event location. Dimora delle Balze is a really charming place for a Wedding in Sicily. Natural and neutral colors dominate while different styles are mixed with many pieces of creative Sicilian artists hanging on the walls. Every design piece was selected to create a dialogue between past and present.

Herbs, jasmine and lemon trees grow in the large garden. There is also a winter garden (Limonaia) for events and a wonderful swimming pool with sea water.

Wedding ceremony and reception

Dimora delle Balze has many different areas, which makes the place very interesting and pleasant to stay. For events, these areas are suitable to small groups of 50 guests up to large groups of 200 guests therefore if you are dreaming a wedding day outdoors, this is the right place. There are three courtyards and a beautiful pool side with bar and restaurant, lounges and garden that offer many beautiful spots for Civil or Symbolic ceremonies and cocktails. The Dimora main garden with terrace can hold up to 100 guests. The Limonaia offers a protected area for approx. 200 guests in case of bad weather conditions. Remember we are in Sicily, it rarely rains.

The food is absolutely amazing. Their cuisine ranges from typical regional dishes to international dishes and can welcome any request.

Accommodation

Dimora delle Balze welcomes guests in 11 rooms, some are bigger, some smaller but all very nice and beautiful. Main house has rooms facing the different courtyards, more intimate rooms are located in the ancient stables and warehouse detached from the Villa. Rooms have contemporary design furniture that creates a wonderful contrast with the ancient architecture of the building.

Minimum stay of 3 nights required to plan a wedding at Dimora delle Balze in high season and 2 nights in April, May and October.
