Country Chic Wedding at Villa Cimbrone
The inspiration for this Ravello wedding was a romantic mood, a country chic style mixed with seasonal elements of fall and others representing Italian traditions and its historical heritage. For this event we cooperated with top level wedding professionals to make the couple’s vision come to life, but we had only a few months’ time: what a challenge! For privacy reasons we are sharing only photos of the stunning decorations.
This couple from Germany had only been together for a while when they decided to say I do on the wonderful Amalfi Coast south of Naples. They contacted us right in the middle of the summer season and we started to work together to make their dream wedding come true.
The couple tied their knot on a fantastic terrace facing the Mediterranean, under a romantic arch full of white and pale pink flowers, the same colors of the bridal bouquet.
For the cocktail we created a rustic atmosphere with wooden barrels and flowers combined with grapes. Tasty appetizers prepared with local produce were also served with the drinks.
The custom design for the stationery was created by the Italian creatives of Shhh My Darling and painted on Carta d’Amalfi – a luxury handmade paper produced nearby – with watercolor details of Villa Cimbrone, the fabulous wedding venue perched atop a cliff in Ravello.
The wedding reception was held in the gardens of Villa Cimbrone, one of the most exclusive wedding venues on the Amalfi Coast. These rustic long tables are a tradition of Southern Italy. Adorned with garden roses, David Austin roses, nigella, scabious, lilac, lisianthus, dahlias and small fruit compositions with grapes, pomegranates and small apples.
