Could anyone possibly get tired of Amalfi Coast weddings? I myself am convinced that this is the most gorgeous background for elegant weddings in Italy for so many reasons: the stunning vistas, the fabulous venues, the delicious Italian wedding food and the welcoming attitude of staff and professionals.


I want to share with you these gorgeous pictures of the wonderful Villa Cimbrone wedding of Hilary and Sean. Hilary contacted me from San Francisco to help her plan an elegant and romantic Ravello wedding. What we created for and with her is one of the most impressive events I ever planned on this exclusive venue.

They say that the devil is in the details, that’s why I always take care of every single aspect of my weddings. Just have a look at this corner: the tiny wooden hearts are the place cards, while the polaroid camera is ready to collect the smiling portraits of the guests for the photographic guestbook. Even this tiny corner was decorated with a magnificent flower arrangement in pink, pale pink and white.

The ceremony venue is a terrace with a stunning sea view in the impressive gardens of Villa Cimbrone.  The magnificent arch and aisle decorations in white and purple are elegant and romantic at the same time.

The wedding gown is really special: the same French lace was used also for Amal Clooney’s wedding gown and for a fabulous evening dress worn by Marylin Monroe. You can read the whole story in the article Wedding gowns for divas: Marilyn, Amal and our bride Hilary.

The reception started in the gardens of Villa Cimbrone with a cocktail and Italian appetizers. Then the bridal couple and their guests transferred into the 10th-century gothic crypt: the ambiance created by the candle lights and the floral decorations was romantic and intimate. Delicate pink and lilac flowers were combined with deep-hued greenery to create a style that merges natural beauty and ethereal elegance. The florists of La Rosa Canina from Florence helped us create these sophisticated wedding table decorations.
